MANILA, Philippines -- Every now and then, our techie son brings home gadgets to test, or, on certain happy occasions, we get gadgets to keep. For instance, he told me a month ago that he had the latest HTC phone, the Sensation, waiting for me. Well, my younger son started testing it and it is now happily ensconced in his care – and he is certainly making better use of its many functions than I ever could. He is also looking forward to another phone that seems to be headed my way, this time the Samsung Nexus, and I have already requested him to figure it out and give me a quick instructional – averse as I am to reading instruction manuals.
