New PHL app helps track typhoons - Technology - GMA News Online - Latest Philippine News: "Users of smartphones and devices running Google's Android operating system can now track cyclones inside the Philippines with a new Philippine-made app.
The "iTyphoon" app, created by Nueva Caceres Technology Solutions, has been downloaded more than 300 times since its first version came out September 8.
"iTyphoon is a premium application that provides typhoon updates. It has four screens: Details, Map, Reference, and Credits," read the app's description on the Android Market."
