The Monster Hunter series can be traced back from the PS2 era. The game itself garnered attention as it offers online play and encourages players to work together to take down beasts. Unsurprisingly, the game spawned sequels with the latest as the PSP port of the Monster Hunter Tri. The difference between the two versions is substantial as the Wii version features underwater quests which is absent in the PSP port.
