Report: Thai PM's Twitter account hacked - Technology - GMA News Online - Latest Philippine News: "Hackers broke into the Twitter account of Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, with the hackers posting false tweets on the account.
The false tweets accused the prime minister of cronyism and various failures, according to a report on The Hacker News Monday.
"If she can't even protect her own Twitter account, how can she protect the country?" The Hacker News quoted the hackers as saying.
But a check of the Twitter account as of Monday noon (Manila time) showed the account was suspended.
"The profile you are trying to view has been suspended," read an error message that greeted visitors to the Twitter account.
